'Put On Love' is Charis' first-hand embroidered portrait created initially for the Hand & Lock Prize for embroidery in 2017.

The self-portrait, aims to reflect the innocence of childhood and the unconditional love and support shown to children by their parents.

Since winning third place in the Hand & Lock Open category, this piece has gone on to be shortlisted for the National Needlecraft Awards for 'Technical Excellence in Hand Embroidery, and 'Best use of Colour'.
